We had a difficult time locating the pants my mother needed because everything is so mixed up. We had to circle the departments multiple times to locate all of the options in pants. There were two staff members that we approached at separate times for assistance. The first young lady was very helpful, walking with us to the selection of pants she had mentioned and guiding us through the options on the racks. The other girl that we asked for assistance from was Macy. She did not assist us in locating the tops we were searching for with guidance. She simply said to look in a particular direction. She wasn't helpful at all. We ended up having to go through practically every rack in women's and petites to find a few tops for mom. While we were at the register she cashed out one customer and made multiple trips just walking back and forth through the department, doing nothing at all, while the other young lady rang up all of our merchandise, ran our credit card application, went over the particulars around the card, and bagged our items. Then Macy ran up behind the young lady, reached beneath the counter and handed us the small bag of free samples which was a belk gift for credit approval. She should have allowed the young lady who actually did all the work to be the one to hand this to us as completion of her accomplishing a new credit customer for Belk. It felt like Macy was stealing her glory after avoiding any real effort to assist us or her coworker when she was actually needed. The entrance to the store is no longer accessible through the interior of the mall. The only entrance is a small door on the end of the building and it isn't very prominent at all. We appreciate the kind customer service provided by the first young lady, unfortunately we failed to get her name. Macy on the other hand had very little interest in assisting us when we really need a little bit of help. The prices are high at this location. Best to shop the sales racks if you can find things you like. One fleece like zip up sweater we purchased for mom was originally $89.50. We paid $17.00 for it. So watch those price tags.
