Thrift StoreVolunteer OrganizationDonations Center
The Habitat for Humanity ReStores are home improvement stores that sell new and used furniture, building materials, appliances and household goods at discounted prices. Proceeds from the ReStores support Habitat’s mission to build safe, affordable homes in our community. The ReStores also seek to be good stewards of the environment by diverting more than 5,000 tons of usable items from landfills annually.
Many customers found the prices to be excessively high for used items, often comparable to new retail prices, which detracted from the thrift store experience.
Customer Service
While some reviews praised the friendly and helpful staff, others reported negative experiences with management and inconsistent service.
Inventory Quality
Customers noted a mix of high-quality items and damaged goods, with some expressing frustration over the lack of consistency in item conditions and pricing.
Donation Experience
Several customers mentioned difficulties with the donation process, including poor organization and lack of respect for their time.
Store Cleanliness
The store was generally described as clean and organized, although some reviews mentioned issues with clutter and parking.

I loved coming here to thrift and find great used pieces, but now when you go in they are offering brand new items for just $100-$200 off the sticker price. Just seems to be turning into a thrifting department store with mass amounts of generic items. Don’t think I’ll find myself back here.

With prices like those you’d expect every unhoused person in wake county to have a habitat built home by now. Sad when buying used is more expensive than new.

We went to the Restore to get a few things for a guest room. We were sold a TV that had not been tested...we plugged it in at home and realized there was a line through the screen. When we went to return, the "manager" implied that we must have done something to the TV. We donate funds to this organization annually...why in the world would we Iie about a TV😬. The person who was responsible for testing the TV obviously did not.

Came looking for a couch and found one. The handicap accessibility was obstructed by a large sign blocking my access.

This location is not worth your time for donation. They pick and choose amongst the items. You will have to make multiple trips to different places if you start here. Not respectful of people's time.
