  I ordered 2 big and tall men’s suits online for under $600. The Michael Kors pants needed to be exchanged. I ordered a different size online and took the small size to return for a refund at the store. The associate was pleasant and patient. She refunded my money. The store was clean and parking was easy. Getting there was awkward. The entry point right off the highway is easy to miss. I had to loop around to get back there. Leaving out the back entrance was also challenging bc of the high traffic area near Crabtree Valley Mall.

  I visited this store on April 9, 2026. I was in the fine state of North Carolina to attend to my daughter's sudden loss of her husband. Unbeknownst to me his celebration of life was going to take place on April 10th. Being in need of some big and tall clothing, I found this store. I found they had an excellent selection of clothing and the person who helped me on the sales floor was very informative, friendly and willing to help me out. I selected a nice pair of pants, belt and socks. Items and left them for me at the front counter. I proceeded to the check stand to pay for my items. There was a another salesperson and according to the receipt her name is Sharon. This person was engaged in conversation with a customer which I had no issues with. I was however in need of getting my clothing and getting out the door to take care of some other issues for my daughter. The two talked initially about clothing and tailoring needs, and then the conversation drifted to other areas. I was standing there patiently waiting to pay for my items. She noticed me but paid no attention and kept on talking. I walked and looked at some shirts and came back. She was still engaged in conversations with this customer. I waited for her about 10 minutes, and finally very politely asked her if she wouldn't mind ringing up my items so I could get going. This person glared at me and said that she would be with me in a few minutes. I explained to her that I needed to get prepared for a funeral which she didn't seem to care about. She just kept on talking to this other customer. She continued her conversation with this other customer talking about various issues, not even related to clothing or from what I understood the purchase that he made. I found her to be very, very rude to me and had it not been for the fact that this was the only clothing store that could accommodate my big and tall needs, I would have left immediately. I think she had the attitude that they were the only game in town and that I was going to wait until she was ready to take care of my sale. After about five more minutes the customer left and she took care of my transaction. She was very curt with me, to the point where I felt insulted. While tendering my purchase, she sardonically asked me if I would input my number for their rewards. I truly believe she saw my ire, and asked these questions to further add to my frustration. I just wanted to pay for my items and go about my day. After making my purchase, she offered no words of thanks for my 255.00 purchase. As mentioned before, if I had options to shop at another big and tall clothing store, I would have never done business due to her abrasive and rude demeanor. Living on the west coast, I have limited knowledge of clothing stores that specialize in big and tall sizes in this area. I found clothing in this store that suited the occasion that I needed it for, but I seriously doubt I would subject myself to such rude treatment in the future.   Iris at DXL is absolutely amazing! My dad is in his late 70s and loves to dress snazzy, but finding the right fit for his unique build can be a challenge. Iris was incredibly patient, providing dedicated 1:1 attention for an entire hour. She even remembered us from previous visits and knew exactly what would work for his style. It is so rare to find such high-quality, personalized service. Highly recommend!

  Very nice store. Large selection of mens clothing. After being helped, Iris suggested certain changes which made us much happier. We will definitely tell others about the store as well as come back to shop ourselves.
