I was accused of not returning items due to missed scans on their end, and policies were applied inconsistently. This was handled very unprofessionally.

Customer Service feels like they couldn't care less. In the end, I bought a few gifts and I made a beauty product purchase that I tried to return. Their policy is no returns on beauty products. They don't tell you but there's a sticker on the checkout counter that you would never notice unless someone pointed to it. When I told them I wouldn't shop there again, the cashier was a smart aleck and the manager said "okay." There isn't anything in there that's special. There are name brands at discount prices and a large selection, but nothing I can't find at TJ Maxx. If you want Nordstrom, drive to South Point.
