- JJJamesDec 1, 20252.0I know this isn’t news to anyone but goodwill has gotten greedy. I purchased a children’s coat rack today for $9.99. When I peeled the sticker off there was another price tag underneath from a different goodwill for $4.99… there were multiple items I found in store that had other goodwill location tags on them with lower prices.

Today I came to return some clothing items I bought earlier that week and the elderly manager seem to have an attitude before she even asked how she could assist me. Within this exchange she questioned me about a shirt I bought, took home & washed & tried on that was too big( I never wore it anywhere outside of trying it on to notice I didn’t like the way it fit) and then went back and forth with me about a pair of active pants THEIR employee rung up as slacks 5days prior, essentially trying to tell me it’s my job as the CUSTOMER to make sure their EMPLOYEES are doing their job correctly and ringing things up like they’re supposed to. She also mentioned that I make frequent returns as if they’re a Macy’s, these clothes are brand new & they provide changing rooms so we should know it fits before we buy it. Like the interaction with her was diabolical. I’m not sure what her issue was today but I’d appreciate it if she left her misery at the door upon clocking in to work. I’ll be following up with corporate as well because this experience in it’s entirety deters me from even wanting to be a customer when you have managers complaining about returning items that don’t fit all while you have no option to try on before purchasing. - SQSonja QualleySep 29, 20255.0The people working here are amazing. The manager, Alicia, helped me when I got locked out of my car...while my car was running, keys, wallet and phone inside. She ordered and PAYED for an Uber to pick me up, take me home to get my spare and bring me back. She was an answer to prayer. Everyone there was so kind to me. I am so grateful.
