  I purchased a Barnett Demun Accu-Strike crossbow from Dunham’s Sports specifically because it advertised a $30 mail-in rebate. I followed all the instructions exactly and submitted everything required, but never received the rebate. When I tried to resolve it, the rebate company pointed fingers and offered no real help. I then contacted Dunham’s, where I made the purchase, and was told they “can’t do anything” because it’s handled by a third party. That’s extremely frustrating. The rebate was part of the reason I chose to buy this product from Dunham’s in the first place. If a promotion is being used to sell items in your store, there should be some level of accountability when customers don’t receive what was advertised. At minimum, Dunham’s should be willing to help escalate the issue or stand behind the promotions they use to drive sales. Right now, it feels like customers are left stuck in the middle with no resolution. I would not rely on rebate offers when shopping here again.

  I purchased my first firearm here a few days ago, the gentleman i originally spoke with about it was very kind and knowledgeable on the gun. I had to wait on a back ground check, it came back in a couple days later and they called me to come get the rifle. The lady that helped me fill out the paperwork and confirm everything was correct with me was very kind and had great customer service as well. When i when to check out for the firearm the lady named Kim at the register was so very rude. Probably one of the rudest people in customer service that i’ve ever dealt with. She had no idea what she was doing or any experience it seemed like as well. No complaints on the transaction or with the other employees i dealt with. Everything else was great and free flowing. If you have to deal with Kim i’ll be praying for you.

  I will definitely be doing all my sporting good shopping at this store! The store manager, Matt went OUT of his way to have what I was looking for when I made it to town. ( I drove 40 minutes to shop here) . Once I was in store and was looking at some other items, he even went as far as using his personal phone to pull up information on a bow my son uses for archery to insure I was purchasing the right target for the right bow. As the store manager, I can only imagine how busy he stays on a daily basis as I use to be in management myself, but he never once made me feel like I was taking up too much of his time or he never rushed me or acted like I was an inconvenience!!! Instead of him letting me buy a more pricy target, which was the wrong target he took the time to find the correct target. As a consumer, that means a lot. He was more concerned about my satisfaction with my purchase versus just being an employee on the clock waiting to clock out , and never once showed any aggravation with my questions I had or the lack of knowledge that I had on what I was looking to buy. Highly recommend this store and like I said, I have local sporting goods stores where I live but Dunhams has won my business from here on out regardless if it is a 40 minute drive !!!! Thank you Matt! You made the visit exceptional!!!
