I made several trips around the store to check out but did not find anyone at any register.I ended up leaving the items. I also noticed in the mens department that a lot of inventory was very cluttered.I did voice my concern to an associate manager but she showed very little concern.The lack of staffing seems to be an on going issue with Belk's.

The store was clean and organized, which made it easy to look around without feeling overwhelmed by the holiday rush. I was able to find a few nice gift options without digging through messy racks, and the sales helped with the prices. Staff were polite when I needed help but didn’t hover, and checkout was smooth enough. Not perfect, but definitely a solid place to shop when you want something a little nicer and less chaotic.
