Very courteous staff. Coming here just before Christmas however was something I could not avoid. They had all check out registers staffed even with at least one manager pitching in. Even so the lines were long. The store had pretty good stock and great prices for things I was looking for.

Called to cancel pickup order. Woman answers and cuts me off saying they don’t open for another 30 minutes and to please call back then. Why’d you answer the phone then, and it wasn’t like you couldn’t just handle my request. I call back when they open and guess what, 10 min of calling and no one answers. Hurry up and close down so a better department store can come in.

I was shopping in the watch/jewelry area at this location around 7:10pm. I was interested in purchasing a watch and was using the JCPenney app to scan the barcode, which required removing the watch from the box.
Although I explained this, the associate closely watched me and made comments implying the watch needed to be immediately put back with the bottom of the box, without clearly explaining the policy or offering assistance. The interaction made me feel uncomfortable and as though it was assumed I would not handle or return the item properly.
Because of the lack of clear communication and customer support, I decided not to proceed with the purchase. I’m sharing this feedback so associates can be guided on how to communicate policies more clearly and professionally.

Went to pick up a package and naturally went to the JCP. Com express pick up line. After standing there patiently waiting for assistance the clerk behind the counter informed us that they only have one line for everything. And she had a nasty attitude no less. Now I have no issue with using what ever line they have but if the express pick up line isn't available they should have a sign out saying so that way customers don't have to get stuck behind 20 other customers that were not there to begin with. Then to make it worse she intentionally fooled around doing nothing when it was time for us to be waited on.
Ms. Gloria I just don't think customer service is for you because you have a nasty disposition and poor attitude!
