- TDTrinity DrummFeb 15, 20261.0The one star is not for the techs at the shop it is for the customer service. No one answers when you call, you will be placed on hold for hours and even have the phone call dropped. Only time I spoke to customer service was while at the shop when they called from there. Seems they can get in touch right away. First extremely rude person, second was told of charges of an amount and would not tell me or provide an itemized statement for charges. Was told I would be locked out of access to my client portal thru the app and the interlock could not be serviced the next month if the charges weren’t paid. How can anyone be expected to pay for anything if you aren’t provided with what is exactly owed for? Now the device is in lockout mode. Can’t get in touch with anyone for a code in order to get it to the shop and is there any point having it towed there at my expense from what I was told stated earlier. Hopefully someone who is a supervisor or management can help me with this issue.

How does an Interlock Device work?
When you blow into your Ignition Interlock Device, you're providing a breath test sample in order to start the vehicle. The device then measures your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC), and will either say that you passed, need to retest, or failed. You will be asked to take rolling retests throughout your drive.
What can breathalyzers detect?
Breathalyzers only measure your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC).
Is an Ignition Interlock the same as a breathalyzer?
Ignition Interlock and handheld breathalyzers both test your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC), but an Ignition Interlock Device is only installed in vehicles and prevents the car from starting if there is alcohol detected. A handheld breathalyzer only detects alcohol and may tell you the concentration.
Can I unplug my Ignition Interlock?
Check with your state authority to see if you are allowed to unplug your Ignition Interlock before doing so.
Can someone else drive my car?
Yes, but whoever is driving the vehicle MUST take a breath test and pass before driving. Any failed test will still be your responsibility.
