I recently visited Bass Pro Shops hoping to get a hard copy of my fishing license, but my experience was far from satisfactory, all thanks to an employee named Rhonda. From the moment we approached her, she seemed visibly annoyed. She didn't greet us or even acknowledge our presence, continuing with her computer work as if we were invisible. When she finally did speak to us, it felt like she was rushing through the conversation, barely making eye contact. When we inquired about getting a hard copy of our license, she made us feel incredibly stupid for even asking. To add insult to injury, she actually shushed us away with a dismissive hand gesture. I was appalled by Rhonda's rude and unprofessional behavior. It's one thing to be busy, but it's another to treat customers with such blatant disrespect. I hope Bass Pro Shops takes this feedback seriously and addresses Rhonda's customer service skills. Until then, I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

Awful experience today. Didn’t have my physical bass pro cc with me. Got to check out and they said they couldn’t look it up and I’d have to go to customer service. So we went over there, the lady said you’ll have to go to another desk. Didn’t specifically say where so we stood there and she’s like, it’s right next door. So we asked, back by the registers, she then point to a register terminal literally a foot away and acted as though we should have known that. So then another lady comes up and then is telling me I need to go into an app and get a virtual card. We stopped her and said it wasn’t worth it at this point. I’ve never experienced a store that no one’s seems to know how to look up a card and take my money. All we wanted to do was spend money and it became so difficult to do so it wasn’t worth it. Some training would go along way!

Always understocked on literally everything. You have to sign into a que to even talk to the guys at the firearms counter. (even if you’re the only one there) I assume this is so they can get your email and the pester the crap out of you like they do at the door about signing up for credit cards and pushing time shares and crappy vacation packages near the fishing section. Don’t even get me started on how annoying THAT is. I’m pretty sure I’ve forgotten more about firearms than their guys will ever even know. I’m an avid outdoorsman and a veteran, I should by all accounts, love this place. However, today (after several disappointing visits) this was the last time I will ever darken the door of a Bass Pro or Cabela’s. It’s just a massive waste of time. These stores have fallen so far from their former glory. Very sad. So instead, if you’re looking for firearms, go to fuquay gun and gold. If youre looking for archery techs, go to first flight archery! If you’re looking for general outdoor supplies, WALMART is literally better than this place.

Always a great place to browse. Great prices and plenty of selection. Even when I don't need anything, I leave with some good deal.
