    I had one of the most frustrating and unacceptable experiences I’ve ever had at a retail store. I walked in with every intention of buying a shotgun, and the entire interaction went downhill from the moment I approached the counter. I was the only customer there, yet the employee couldn’t even bother with a real greeting. All I got was a half-hearted “If you need something, let me know,” which already told me what kind of service I was about to get. I asked to see the shotgun I wanted and then asked about price matching. He told me they do price match and even confirmed they match Sportsman’s Warehouse. The second I showed him the price on their website, he immediately changed his story and said they “won’t price match it because it’s not in the store.” I pointed out that the listing clearly showed options for in-store pickup or shipping to an FFL, and he didn’t even pretend to care. He cut me off with “We’re not doing that.” I suggested he call the store to confirm, and he flat-out refused. When I said I’d call myself, he reacted like I was trying to scam him. At that point, I told him I’d gladly take my money somewhere else. I asked to speak to the manager, hoping she’d actually handle the situation professionally. That didn’t happen. She walked out just as clueless and dismissive as the employee. I tried to explain what happened, and she instantly went into defensive mode, refusing to even look at the exact information I was showing her. Instead of listening, she tried to justify the employee’s behavior, which only made it more obvious that neither of them had any understanding of their own policies or how to treat customers. I told her clearly that I would not be buying anything from that store again, now or in the future. Even after that, she hit me with “What can I do for you since you’re not buying anything,” which was the final confirmation that I was wasting my time with people who had zero interest in being professional or helpful. I left immediately. The entire experience was ridiculous, aggravating, and completely unacceptable from both the employee and the manager. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
