- EPEric Parrish3 days ago1.0Terrible customer service. I have shopped at Sportsman’s for a long time and generally like their stores. I purchased a bergara rifle recently and there was an error in manufacturing where the machined mounting holes for the scope rings were not in alignment with the end of the barrel. The rifle was dropped off to be sent back to bergara on December 13th 2025. I came back in to see what the status of the rifle was on or about 2/5/2026 and I was told that the rifle had been sent to bergara on the 17th of December and bergara received it on the 22nd. Got in contact with bergara on mid February for an update. Turns out they didn’t have the rifle with my serial number. I go into Sportsman’s to get the rma # and they apparently haven’t shipped it yet. Total BS customer service especially with making no effort to contact me and tell me that the rifle has been sitting in their store in Helena MT for 2.5 months with minimal effort to contact bergara. I know sportsman’s doesn’t return rifles but there must be a process for out of the ordinary circumstances to return a rifle or exchange it. This should be taken care of like this and to a point where I am taken care of as the customer. I am reasonable but this is unacceptable.
