  I visited the store to purchase a purse and wallet as a birthday gift for my mother. Before purchasing, I mentioned to the associate that I was unsure about the color, as my mother already owns at least two pink bags. I ultimately purchased the pink bag, but when I gave it to my mother, she declined to open it, stating she already had one too similar. Two days later, I returned to the store to exchange or return the item. At that time, I was told by the assistant manager, Alexis, that clearance items are final sale. I asked why this wasn’t posted anywhere in the store, and she replied that she wasn’t sure. She then claimed, "I checked you out, and I always tell customers all sales are final." I made it clear that had she informed me of that at the time of purchase, I would have paused to reconsider and made sure this was the right gift. She doubled down, saying, "I told you—you just weren’t listening." Frankly, I was shocked by her unprofessional and dismissive tone. I asked if I could exchange the item for a different color, but she refused, saying, “The receipt says final sale.” That makes no sense—you only receive a receipt after a purchase is completed. I’m not disputing the receipt; I’m disputing the lack of verbal disclosure and the absence of signage before the sale. I asked to speak with the store manager. Alexis called her and then told me the manager, Candace, would call me on Sunday. It’s now Wednesday.I understand people are off on certain days, but if you are a salaried manager, accountability should extend beyond your shift—especially when there’s an unresolved customer issue. This store does not post visible “final sale” signs on clearance items, and I believe that’s intentional to avoid deterring potential buyers. That is deceptive, and I will not accept it. I am requesting the following: 1 A full refund for the bag. 2 A call from your District Manager (Kristy) within 24 hours of this message. Until this is resolved, I will: • Call customer service daily. • Leave public complaints on Google, Facebook, and any other relevant platforms. This isn't just about one sale—it’s about principle and the lack of integrity shown to a loyal customer. Customers like me are the reason Alexis, Candace, and Kristy have jobs. I suggest this matter be taken seriously and resolved promptly. If Michael Kors continues to treat loyal customers this way, I will no longer support the brand and will share my experience widely. Lastly I urge you not to purchase from this store it’s time we stop letting businesses treat the paying consumers unfairly! There’s a coach store next door which has similar prices.
