    I was invited to join the bass pro club and I asked if it was a soft inquiry because I'm building my credit and was told that it was a soft inquiry. Well it's not. My score dropped 17 points just like that. I told them I wouldn't get approved but I was assured that it was just to get 20 percent off and then after I was denied I didn't even get the discount. I just got my credit score dropped so someone could hit a quota. This really isn't cool. So I was misled, and who knows how long I'll have to pay for believing them.

    THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED!!!!!!!! I will take my business elsewhere. Very rude and unprofessional of the women at the counter when you walk in to get an online order. I was treated disrespectfully and my items were thrown at me. Lady got upset when she was the one asking for “order number” which I gave her. Then proceeds to cut me off and say “No your phone number” and she got my order and threw it at me on the counter. I was in the store last week to take back an order and I was treated rudely then as well. I will be shopping at PEARL bass pro any more. Strictly ONLINE !!!!

    I am so incredibly disappointed in this company and the Pearl location. I purchased a rifle on November 21, and it was delivered to the store on November 29. I live two hours, away so I scheduled my appointment for Friday December 5 for pickup. I called and spoke with customer service and was transferred to the gun department to let them know that I did move and the address on my license was my previous address. The employee who was working on December 5 at 2:48PM stated no worries, bring a water bill and I’ll let you leave with the rifle. I told him if I needed to update my license then I can bump my pickup date back because I live two hours away and obviously didn’t want the drive there for nothing. Once I get there, wait in line, I was told my water bill wouldn’t work and that I needed a different document they could confirm. I wasn’t prepared to have the other documents needed as I was told a water bill or a power bill would be just fine. After a 30 minute ordeal, I told them to refund my money. I did not leave with the gun and I will never purchase one again from Bass Pro. There was no accountability for being told wrong information, the manager didn’t give me the employees name but said “yeah I think I know who was working”. There needs to be a retraining of the staff and ensure they are giving customers proper information. Terrible experience and will use local dealers from now on. This is a huge corporation and it was clear that they didn’t need my business, just another “unhappy customer”. Not to mention, Friday morning I got a call from a lady that was incredibly rude and started the call by saying “uhm do you want your rifle? It’s been here since the 29th” and I told her if she looked at my club profile she would see my appointment was later that day. Her toned changed. What a joke of customer service and what a joke of an experience.
