This place was great. We went to the one in Shreveport, Louisiana and Donavan was great. He knew what he was doing and knows how to talk to people. I am from Louisiana and my husband born and raised in Arkansas . Do we got along good . He really took slot of time and patience with us. When we go back to take more stuff we want to make sure we go where Donovan will be. Thank you so much . I give Donovan a 10 plus .

Although I had the impression from the promotion ad that they would buy close to any valuable and/or rare items, that didn’t prove to be the case. No colored gemstones (emeralds, rubies, etc. ) I also had some loose diamonds from my father’s ring that were kind of rare and extremely expensive. The gentleman barely glanced at them in passing in a bag, dismissed them completely with just an “Oh those little things? I might give you $15”! If he would have looked at them he would probably have reconsidered but I’m glad he didn’t. I also had some vintage jewelry he passed on, some rare currency notes from around the world and a 1700’s coin. I’m content with the price I received for the couple of items he did buy bc I really needed it. All in all, if you’re willing to accept a cash offer for MAYBE 10% of the worth of your items, it can be a blessing. If you’re wanting anywhere close to appraisal value, I’d suggest contacting an auction or selling it yourself. You can’t be mad at their hustle. They take advantage of being able to capitalize in an area and go for it. They miss important details in their prejudgments and lack of attention though. One ring I sold, I didn’t get anything for the diamonds it contained. And those weren’t tiny.

The overall experience was fine. Micah was friendly and helpful. It did seem like the gold buying parameters utilizing 10K to 14K as the range of purity were a bit low. It was also a learning event to be told the smaller diamonds were of limited value. Again though, the overall experience was good. I would return for future buying events. You can always say no if you aren't happy with the offer presented.

This was the 1st time I have sold items through an event, and I was pleasantly surprised. The gentleman who waited on me was knowledgeable, professional & very pleasant. I would like to thank him again for his courtesy & patience with all of my questions. He explained to me what each piece was worth & I felt I was given a fair amount for all of my items. If the occasion should arise again, I would have no hesitancy to deal with National Rarities.

My first time going to one of these events. I had coin sets, old coins, coins with silver in them, mercury dimes, etc. Very check-in by a friendly hostess. Didn't have to wait long to show off my coins and sets. Each grouping was explained by the rep, Seth, as to what I had, what the value was, either in silver alone, or by the coin itself. Values presented to me were very reasonable, I thought. I turned in about 85% of what I had taken. I know National rarities comes twice a year to the location I attended, so I will start seeing what I can take when they return in the Fall. Wonderful group of representatives, and so down to earth with their explanations on things. Great experience for me. Seth was just great!!!!
