- KCK CarsnJan 2, 20262.0What a disappointing experience. Bought a comforter on sale here 3 days ago but when I went to try to wash it before using, I could not get it to fit into my washing machine. So wrapped it back up (no small feat) and tried to return it today. But after 30+ minutes waiting in line, the girl said it was a final sale and could not be returned. What?? It had only been 3 days and was not used at all. The cashier did not mention anything about final sale when I bought it. All she said was, "I don't have a bag to fit that, you're just going to have to carry it". (I had not asked.) But had I inspected the receipt, there were 2 little words, final sale, hidden in there. There's no way that I could have seen this, but if a salesgirl had pointed it out, at least I would have been informed and saved myself 3-4 hours of time and trouble. And yes, the receipt doesn't print until after you pay. But after the receipt prints, that seems like a good time for the cashier to point it out, maybe circle it or something. Had they done that, I would have known and been able to make an informed decision. Certainly a business has the right to run their business however they want. But it does feels dirty when, first you aren't informed, then you waste your time and energy due to being uninformed. And to top it off, it feels like they just stole your money. Maybe it's just that the employees weren't trained properly. But either way, this doesn't seem like a good way to do business. Rack has caused this customer to feel horrible and it was 100% preventable.

Tip: Go sooner rather than later to take advantage of the sale before January 4, and check multiple sections—you can find great hidden deals.
