Such an amazing experience! My husband and I bought a BEAUTIFUL topaz ring and I’m obsessed with it. The team was so friendly and knowledgeable —they made the whole process fun and totally stress‑free. I left feeling excited and confident. I'll definitely be coming back. Thank you DY!

Last Wednesday, I visited the David Yurman store in Frontenac to purchase a birthday gift for myself. The security guard welcomed me. The sales staff did not. Despite the store’s small size and low traffic, the sales staff observed me but never asked if I needed assistance. In contrast, every customer who entered after me was promptly greeted and helped, while I was completely ignored. I browsed patiently, waiting for acknowledgment. No salesperson, including the manager, made any effort to engage or even say hello, which made the experience uncomfortable, so I left. On Monday, January 19, I returned with my sister, still intending to make a purchase. We walked the entire store, lingered, and waited. Once again, no one acknowledged us. What was most noticeable was watching sales associates walk directly past us, make eye contact us, still while they did not acknowledge us, and greet other customers who entered after us. Not even a simple hello. This was a missed sale at the cost of basic courtesy. I had assumed a greeting did not come at an additional charge. In a store this small, courtesy should apply to every customer, regardless of appearance. While we were not dressed in particularly fancy attire, money does not have a dress code. Because this was my second attempt to make a reasonable purchase at this location, my sister advised me not to spend my money there. She even informed the security guard on our way out that the sales team had just lost a significant sale. We ultimately went to Diamonds Direct which will soon be a jewelry store option in Frontenac, where we were treated with professionalism and respect and I purchased a higher quality bracelet without hesitation. This experience was disappointing, avoidable, and unacceptable for a luxury brand.

I wish I could give zero stars but then I wouldn't be able to write this negative review. My sister and I had gone into this location this afternoon. We were ignored by sales staff during the entirety of our visit. We observed that all sales people acknowledged every other person who walked in after us, yet we were ignored and treated as if we were invisible. The one light-skinned, racially ambiguous Black male salesperson made direct eye contact with us, but also failed to acknowledge our presence. He did, however, go out of his way to converse with a white lady, who he acknowledged by her first name. Maybe the customer 'Danielle' was more in alignment with whom they'd rather appeal. It was freezing outside and we chose warmth over wardrobe. Our money doesn't discriminate where we spend it; judgment is expensive, courtesy is free. The Black woman at the door, who I assume was security, bid us a nice day on our way out. I made sure to thank her for acknowledging our presence, and told her that store "just missed out on a lot of money." Needless to say, we took our business elsewhere. My sister got a stunning and more high-quality piece of jewelry from the polite and welcoming great team, specifically Scott, at Diamonds Direct. By the way, Scott informed us that Diamonds Direct is moving to Frontenac Mall this spring. Tell him I sent you.

Really looking forward to a perfect presentation for the gift I just bought. They were out of their signature bags.
