Leaving the music playing from November 1st past Christmas all day until 9pm every night is probably the most disrespectful thing I can think of from a business. The whole neighborhood submitted complaints with the city and it’s still heard blocks away, well past Christmas, until 830 at night. Absolutely disgusting they think this is okay, it’s so loud and long it’s almost like a bad joke someone is getting away with.
I haven’t been able to sit outside in quiet after work since October.

I was at the Springfield MO Bass Pro. I was looking for an item in apparel and could find it. A gal was standing next to and saw that I was obviously confused as to where I needed to be looking. She told me she worked for Bass Pro and would mind helping me, it was her day off and she was shopping for Christmas. She took me around and helped me find everything I needed and was so polite and friendly. I just want to let the powers to be know that Terry Meyers, not sure of the spelling, was so helpful and really made my day. I guess she works graveyard, I think she said that was what she told me. Anyway very good customer service and if employees help customers on their days off, especially during a hectic time of year while doing their own shopping; I will definitely be back to this store!! Very friendly and great experience!! Again Thank you Terry!

Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World is seriously impressive.
This is a very cool, expansive Bass Pro—easily the biggest and most immersive one I’ve ever visited. The indoor rivers, waterfalls, trees, and rockwork built throughout the store are incredibly well done and make it feel more like an attraction than a retail space. If you’re looking for anything outdoor or sports-related, I genuinely can’t imagine they don’t have it. The place is absolutely massive.
The museum areas were also a highlight, especially the taxidermy animal displays and detailed habitat sets. One standout moment was seeing the largest polar bear ever harvested (1960)—an impressive and striking piece of history.
The NRA National Sporting Arms Museum inside the complex was also surprisingly interesting, even if you’re not a hardcore firearms enthusiast. It adds another layer to what’s already a packed experience.
Overall, it’s just a fun place to stop, and the location is perfect—right next to Wonders of Wildlife National Museum & Aquarium, making it easy to turn this into a full day outing.

We could have easily spent a full day here, but we were traveling back home to Texas. The funny part about this was that I told them we would make it a quick stop and needed to be out in 15min. This was before we pulled up and saw the majestic Christmas decor, expansive store space and outdoor iceskating rink.
They had fire pits and picnic tables set up, but it was over 60degrees out Sat. Dec 27. I would have loved to have stayed longer because the kids wanted to skate.
They had a museum, stage area and so many things we did not have time to participate in. We will definitely plan on coming back to just hang out and walk around..
Oh and almost forgot to mention food, snacks and coffee inside. There's a whole upstairs level we didn't get to visit.
Whatever you do, make time to stop just to see it. If you have to plan a visit another day, 100% worth it for anyone who loves nature and the outdoor activities/sports..

Probably best to buy a rifle somewhere else. Bought a Black Rain AR this past Monday, opened it for Christmas and started to clean it to take to the range when the charging handle snaps in two, and upon further inspection, there were scratches and rust in the upper receiver. This was a brand new rifle and it was clearly defective. All Bass Pro could do was return it to the manufacturer. The reason it's not a one star review is because Pete and Chuck were great in getting that set up but now I'm out a rifle for however long it takes. Really disappointed in my first firearm purchase from them. The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth and I'm probably going to go elsewhere in the future. I'll update once I get the rifle back from BRO but just an overall terrible experience. Go and support your local gunsmith instead.
