  Purchased 3 items, 2 at reg price and 1 marked down on clearance shelf. Sales Associate very friendly and apparently applied additional Coupon Disc to the shoes. Unfortunately, the shoes afe not a good fit. Return Assoc politely said "purple tags" are final sale. No final sale wording listed on my receipt, and item in question shows Return Value of $20. Asked to speak with Mgr. "Abby" sweetly told me it was "policy" and refused to return. A review of online return policy does not address final sale policy, for shoes. Online chat was useless. Abby was aware that the sales associate gives "extra" discounts, but she flatly refused to refund $20. I see from other reviews that Abby's customers service skills still need refinement.

  Allison, the Merchandise Supervisor for Men’s, Kids, and Home, was phenomenal. She provided truly superior customer service when assisting in an area she normally does not work in. So often, when someone is called to help in another department, they respond as though it’s not their job and the service becomes subpar. That was absolutely not the case with Allison. She stepped in with professionalism, patience, and a genuine willingness to help. She is truly an asset to the store. I also had the opportunity to speak with Megan, the General Manager, who was kind, compassionate, and very understanding. It’s clear that strong leadership is present. JCPenney is truly blessed to have employees like Allison and Megan. No matter what you’re shopping for, the location at the mall is absolutely worth a visit.

  Manager Abby, ruler of the JC Penney under world, connoisseur of clearance suit cases that are missing price tags- you know who you are. This Penney’s scholar had just about the worst attitude I have ever come across. A clearance luggage item missing its price tag and could not be located anywhere. Comparable's online not being anywhere over $150, yet our grand champion stood in front of myself and other managers, arguing about the obvious differences in the item online versus what was in my hand. $300 quoted for a clearance suitcase that I and other managers had substantially proven different from the one our eminence found online to warrant her quoted price. Think twice before making Abby come across the land to assist you. It’s a dangerous game.

  We came in this store to purchase earrings. We were in the store not greeted for nearly an hour waiting at the jewelry stand. One worker asked, did we need any help then proceeded to help everyone other customer, but us. In fact, folks that were just walking up, she began to assist and another worker began to assist. She was from the makeup area so at first, I assumed she just was stepping in to assist. Then, after we watched her assist everyone else, her behavior it was quite clear. Another worker stepped in to take wonderful care of us. However, that does not make up for the lack of respect and dignity the first two workers showed
