I love this store! It's amazing to see super nice staff to take all the time you need to help you figure out everything for your next art project. They also match the online pricing and sometimes are even cheaper than online.

Great for a chain, so helpful (when there isn’t a long line), not happy they moved out of St Louis, and their hours are prohibitive for working artists… overall 3/5

I used to visit Blicks as a child when they were a small space in Clayton. It was so small, it was amazing how they fit so many materials in there. It was always busy, even though the register was cramped in the corner hahahaha 😆 My mother would get matte board for me to frame my pieces.
In my twenties, they were located in the Loop. I used to buy all sorts of things there: portfolio materials, colored pencils, anything I needed at the time.
Now I am 36, and I had not visited in a while. I love the new space. No more cramped framing area anymore, they have an entire section for measuring. Everything is so organized. I saw items in there that I had not seen since art college, like Conte Crayon. Even though the space is different, the memories aren't. So many tools to create with, even ones I haven't seen or used in years. #Nostalgia
