- MLMax LOct 27, 20251.01st time shopper at this location and was not impressed by the staff — Jeremy followed me around the store and watched me so closely, I couldn’t even enjoy my shopping trip and left without buying anything. I’m not sure if he thought I was shoplifting maybe because I hadn’t been in before and he didn’t know me?? I don’t know, but he made a big show of talking over his walkie and going out of his way to make a lot of eye contact — again, not sure if it was just because he hadn’t seen me in before, but I think he was trying to intimidate me so I would leave … even though I had heard wonderful things about this location and was looking forward to opening a card and shopping … Will not be back because of him, and because of how bad I felt after leaving, I will be finding the number to leave a complaint with the corporate JCPenney. I’ll just try shopping at Kohls.
