  SHAME ON YOU NOE'S! Took my wedding ring in for repair when I noticed a prong on my solitaire was out of place. An employee looped it, then took it to the Owner who was at the repair station visible in the store. The Owner and another man passed it back and forth. The employee brought it back and said all the diamonds in both channels were loose. They didn’t even want to risk putting it in the ultrasonic cleaner for fear they would fall out. Both channels would need to be recast and reset. And more bad news, my solitaire had a crack in it, likely when the prong got bent. I was shocked and saddened at the prospect of needing to essentially build my wedding ring from scratch. I’ve had it cleaned, inspected, and prongs reset over the last 20+ years and had never heard those concerns. I wanted a second opinion and went to a jeweler in Overland Park who came highly recommended. Again, I was shocked – the Owner said there was absolutely nothing wrong with my ring, other than a damaged prong. The channel set stones were all safe and snug in their setting. The solitaire was not cracked but had a small inclusion (cosmetic) that has always been there and did not warrant replacement. He explained everything in detail and showed me under magnification. I felt sick, thinking I almost lost thousands of dollars for repairs I did not need. I have been a customer of Noe's for many years (previous owner). I will never be back. BEWARE!
