  Definitely not the kind of store you can stop by on a weekend trip and expect to be helped. Went in here while on a day trip to KC and planned to purchase a new watch. After over 30 minutes there was still nobody available to help despite there being multiple people behind the watch counter who appeared to be free. After asking the greeter when someone might be able to assist and being told there were still 15 people ahead of us I just left. Not everything should have to be a custom tailored appointment that people have to wait an hour for, especially for someone who wants to try on a watch or two and get out of there.

  Had an amazing experience all around from looking and purchasing Watches and engagement rings. Everyone here is so helpful and just wonderful to work with! They make you feel very welcome and answer tons of questions and just great people to work with.

  Contrary to my negative presuppositions regarding large jewelry stores, I now understand why Meierotto Jewelry has become one of the Midwest’s most popular destinations for exceptional jewelry coupled with superior customer service. Macy, in particular, was remarkable in her perceptive attention to our needs and was patiently helpful and informative over our two long visits to work through our options to facilitate our process to find just the right piece from an informed and confident position. We’re very pleased with our experience and now consider ourselves loyal customers.

  The experience can be a little stressful, frantic, and impersonal if you go on a busy day like a Saturday, but my fiancé and I were indeed able to create the PERFECT engagement ring! We also had a very positive experience with resizing — it took less than 45 minutes, was free (first time), and the environment was much more warm and relaxed. Just an FYI — buying were was different than the first diamond shop we looked at (Nebraska Diamond in Lincoln). We had chosen a design at the first place, and they didn't charge anything to save our design ideas. We went to Meierotto to see some different ideas, just to be sure, since it was more local to us. Unfortunately (or fortunately?), unlike the last place, we learned after picking a ring idea that Meierotto required you to commit & pay a deposit immediately. I had originally planned on proposing, and picking out the final design as a surprise, myself several months later, so this put me in an awkward position and ruined the surprise a bit. Depending on your situation, Meierotto might not be the right place to "window shop". If you are with your partner and want to pick out THE engagement ring though, this place is highly reputable, reasonable, and has an excellent selection and customer service.
