I called customer service they said that the account was current and in good terms. I then called the local store back and explained what customer service had said and was very rudely informed that I had to return to the store if I wanted any help. This store is in liberty mo. I would suggest not to use the store, very unprofessional and with no support of customer support. Bruce

The shoes are on sale online (including for in-store pick up) however in store they WILL NOT price match their own online price! We needed shoes for a meet tomorrow and to size the shoes correctly so going to the store is the only option that made sense for us and was zero mention of this being an online only sale on the webpage. Staff were unhelpful, borderline rude. We’ve had issue with this store in the past (they asked me to pay for an online order that was as already paid for-as all online orders are?) but I was sorely disappointed by the ‘it corporate policy’ response that I receive in this interaction. Just wanted to let anyone who reads this review to know that Dicks was willing to price match Academy’s online price-the one that Academy wasn’t willing to match!
- AGAdam GerdesMar 24, 20261.0I would give zero stars if possible. Bought soccer shoes for my son’s first practice. Not 10 minutes wearing them they wore blisters on both his ankles. I went to return them and explained to the manager and he had no care. His exact works were once they hit the dirt we can’t return them. I will never buy anything from academy sports again!
