Awesome customer service today, they helped me order an item that wasn’t in stock, even took the time to call to and see if Legends had it first. The store was super clean and organized as well.

I came from out of town, needing a good set of shoes. Popped into this Van's location with less than 15 minutes until close. The attitude I was met with? Utter kindness and patience. Damian was the closing staff this evening and he put his closing duties on standby to be helpful, educational, and warm. Even though I didn't find the shoes I was looking for--not that I knew at the time--I walked out of the shop with a smile on my face and very glad that I walked in.

Had a weird experience today. Came in looking for a new pair of the exact shoes I was wearing. The girl helping me was great. She was prompt and even offered to lace them for me. I noticed a quality issue between my old pair and the new ones and showed the girl helping me. The suede on the new pair felt crusty and crunchy, like straight up plastic.
Another associate weighed in on the issue and tried to upsell me on a more expensive pair to “upgrade” to a nicer suede. I could smell the BS from a mile away. I went around the store checking the suede on the display models of the pair I wanted and asked the associate to bring out a second pair. Sure enough, the second pair had better quality suede.
I really don’t appreciate the guy who tried to give me the runaround on the clear quality issue I pointed out. Pulling something out of thin air about “better” suede on the more expensive pair is not a great look. Maybe just offer to bring out another pair for comparison instead?
