- TGT G5 days ago1.0Dear Academy Sports Customer Service, I am writing to formally complain about a recent experience at your Maize location. On April 12, 2026, I purchased a pair of ASICS VERSABLAST shoes on salefor $69.99. I was informed at the time of purchase of a 60-day return policy. As the shoes do not provide the necessary ankle support and are uncomfortable for my work in a school setting, I attempted to return them today, April 25. However, the manager on duty, James, refused the return, claiming the shoes were not in sellable condition. The shoes are in excellent condition, and I am well within the 60-day window. Furthermore, there is no language on my receipt stating that items must be in "sellable condition" to qualify for a return. I am deeply frustrated that the store refused the return and did not offer an exchange or any other solution. This experience is a stark contrast to the customer service I have received at competitors like Scheels, and the manager’s dismissive attitude was unprofessional. I would like this matter to be resolved by honoring the return policy as stated. I look forward to your prompt response regarding this issue. Regards, T G

I just put them on the counter and left ,dishonest practice to get you in the store
