    Extremely Unsafe Installation & Terrible Customer Service by the actual company. I will say Shelly and Tyler at the JC MO location did end up accommodating me after I explained what happened and I did receive a refund of my installation, which is why I am providing 2 starts rather than one. I had a terrifying experience because of LifeSafer’s improper installation. Their wiring was so sloppy that it wrapped around my steering column and caused my steering wheel to stiffen and nearly lock up while driving with my kids in the car. This was later confirmed by a certified shop, who said it was the worst installation they had ever seen and a major safety risk. On top of that, customer service misinformed me and insisted I buy a new battery—even though mine was already within the required voltage. I spent over $250 on a battery I didn’t need. I also had to pay for two separate tows, and I was left without a working vehicle for days. In total, I paid $300 for the original install, $150 for towing, and $250+ for an unnecessary battery—all because of their negligence. Now I’m being told I need to tow my car again to the original installation center over 50 miles away. This entire situation was preventable, dangerous, and extremely costly. I am requesting full compensation for the tows and the battery. I still, after a whole week, have not been able to get ahold of anyone with customer service. I strongly urge anyone considering LifeSafer to look elsewhere for your safety and sanity.

    This update July 11, 2025 @0830, I got a text from Shelly saying she was running late. (From a personal cellphone). She came into the office. I learned later that she couldn't do an actual calibration. These people are very hateful, extremely unfriendly, unprofessional, and motivated 100% by money. They do things like close the office early, don't answer the phone, don't explain their charges and guidelines until you ask specifically. I think they hid my checklist which was to be a guide. When I inquired about the information and something in writing, it mysteriously appeared in my glovebox, after the calibration? The checklist was without my initials I had another month or so. I went to another service provider for the last 2 months I'm finally finished with these lying sacks of crap. I'm going to take all the time to make sure Shelly and Tyler are exposed for the swindlers they are. They are both; unhelpful, devious, and greedy profiteers. They hide behind the punitive power of the state and have unethical proven techniques that gauge their clients. They are so blatantly unethical, I couldn't believe it until 6 mos in. Thank God I made it through. These two ; Shelly and Tyler were nothing but a couple of thieves. Definitely keep your guard up and complain to corporate. Update: it's been a couple of years since I posted this review. I'm following up. I still have a lot of anger at these swindlers and the State around this industry. More oversight and scrutiny are needed. I sincerely would not have been able to do their gauntlet 20 yrs. ago, due to this diabolical duo, especially Shelly.

    I can’t say enough about this place and the customer service I received from Shelly and Tyler. They literally went above and beyond Shelly actually went outside by the road to help direct me in ,because I was lost. I am a very happy New lifesaver customer!! Highly recommended them!!
