Couldn't be happier with my most recent experience. They hibored pricing from a competitor. No hassles just quick service. Highly recommend.

Great archery place for people in need. Dave is a great individual to talk to and very knowledgeable. Installed my new arrow rest and adjusted everything afterwards. I’m ready to hunt now thanks to him. Thanks Dave. I appreciate the help and will be back for more archery stuff.

“Where's Waldo?” (Jamie) & “Pat” (Name Unknown); their only job was to snap a photo of my family, with Santa, as we've done for eight seasons at Cabela's.
Apparently, they were displeased with my 4-year old’s smile, and kept telling him to give them a “real smile”. We looked at my son and said, he is smiling. “Pat” then said “Let us worry about getting him to smile, everyone else look at the camera”....Rude! My 4 y/o doesn't particularly like “Santa” in person and they saw that upon our arrival.
Then “Waldo” offered my son Candy Canes, but didn't get the reaction she was seeking. Next, she held up the container of dog treats and said, “Do I need to offer you dog food to get you to smile?” “Pat” Snickered. My husband, myself, our 7 y/o, and a young black female employee, all stopped and made immediate eye contact with one another.
I told my husband, “Pictures are done”. Then I looked directly at Waldo and said, “Excuse me, we're not animals, we're all humans here” (With an eye roll). Pat came to her coworkers' defense and said “She was just playing”. My 7 y/o echoed my sentiment, and was visibly upset. I advised him not to worry, because I already corrected them, but I confirmed to my son that he was right, we are humans, not animals.
I asked another couple after us if their child was offered dog food. It was purposely done for those two employees to hear, to reiterate the extent of their stupidity. Pat made a beeline towards me, and doubled-down that Waldo was “just playing”. She was very protective over her “co-worker”. I told her we don't play like that, and she can play with anybody else's children, including the white ones. Pat said that I made it about race. I told her that Waldo made it about race when she offered my BLACK SON dog food and then the giggle from her (Pat).
I walked away, and she returned to the other family, apparently “explaining” what occurred earlier. My children & husband thankfully walked away before the situation became heated, because they aren't exposed to foolery. The other couple entertained it, with their child present. As I walked away, Pat said, “Yeah, you better walk away, Karen.” That further proves she was irrational; I am a Black Woman, and waiting until someone walks away to keep talking is cowardly. I advised that's what she sees in the mirror daily…A Karen.
No child or family should have to experience this. I contacted the corporate office upon returning home (within 2 hours) and received a call from the Store Manager the next day. I provided a photo of the Thugs (attached). I received an apology from the manager, and was told it would be “dealt with”. That phrase is relative. I'm sure they kept their little elf jobs😏. Without saying, we won't be returning to their stores in the future for any reason.

Went there a handfull of times and everytime staff is very rude to customers and myself. Never had this happen at any other cabelas. This location definitely needs new management. They have unique weird policies no other cabelas I have bin to has. And will talk down to people. Will not go back after last visit. Just head to the bass pro in st charles where customer service has always bin amazing! Without ridiculous company policies.
