  Still in shock how I was treated at this Aerie store. I came in to return an item that didn’t hold up after wearing it once. I had already spoken with someone from the store the week before, and they told me to bring it in and they would order a replacement. However, when I went in, I was met with very rude customer service. I was asked where are the tags, I explained there were no tags because I had wore it and the reason I’m exchanging it is because it started pilling very badly after one where. This lady looked at me and said we can’t return this, threw down the top and then walked over to the other register to check someone else out. The way I was treated was unprofessional and very disappointing, especially after being reassured that they would make it right. This was Monday 9/29 around 1 pm.

  So a week ago I went to Aerie to purchase shirt, I walk in and there are no customers just a floor associate (Leah) and her friends gathered laughing and talking-no one said hello, do you need help or any acknowledgment at all. I walk over to the group and see that Leah is the actual associate and ask for assistance, I ask her about the shirt I’m in search of and she was very rude, dismissive and preoccupied! When I asked about the shirt she began to shake her hair and start to fix a ponytail and then told me that the shirt was something that wasn’t there and to check downstairs in offline and I told her I already went there first and it’s not a offline item, I left and ordered the product online. Yesterday I went to the store to get another shirt that I saw last week and when I went to check out Leah was checking a guest out and told me to go on the American Eagle side and I stated no I’m here right now and I can wait for her to finish, when she was done checking out the guest before me she told me she would not check me out because she was a LOD manager and she doesn’t check guest out????? A very nice young lady Audrey witnessed the incident and she said she would check me out. As a customer that has shopped at American Eagle and Aerie for years I am appalled at the behavior and this is not the first incident I have had but this is the worst!!! Did she not want to check me out due to something racial, personal (she doesn’t know me personally) or just plain bad customer service and a lack of good common sense?! Her job is to assist customers and make the shopping experience a good one and she failed! Shame on her!

  Employees are rude and snobby. Acting as if they are selling designer pieces and not overhyped polyester made in a factory with all the other basic stuff. They need to humble themselves 😂

  Shopped at Arie for bras, Jess and Kabrina helped me out. The only reason for 4 stars was just not walking out with a bra that I fell in love with. Not the employees fault! My bf wasn’t bothered by other employees to leave so that was good! The employees did their best. The sizes, and my sister bra sizes just didn’t work with me.
