They don't pay you back after having to have your vehicle towed at $200 per tow. They don't have good customer service and calibration is another cost once a month on top of the monthly cost to use the device. The car is always dead and have had to have several batteries due to this device. No reimbursements for 8 tows= $1600. It's a scam if I ever did see one

How does an Interlock Device work?
When you blow into your Ignition Interlock Device, you're providing a breath test sample in order to start the vehicle. The device then measures your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC), and will either say that you passed, need to retest, or failed. You will be asked to take rolling retests throughout your drive.

Is an Ignition Interlock the same as a breathalyzer?
