- GBGeorge Burdett1Jan 12, 20262.0Had my gold (with diamonds) wedding ring downsized to fit better, which turned out good, BUT what wasn't so good was how they polished away the brushed gold accent finish that enhanced the diamond setting. They offered to rework the brush finish to bring it back to its original look. However...I felt that they might be scamming me for the gold that would be removed to redo the brush finish... I felt that if they were reliable jewelers, that paid attentention to details, they would not have polished away the obvious accent finish. I don't trust them.
