  My wife Mary Jo and I stopped at Scheels in St. Cloud this weekend looking for a couple of accessories for our new pontoon. We were looking for Mission Haven pontoon fenders. We could not find them on the floor and after a few minutes of searching we were approached by Brandon Trisco asking us if we had any questions or if he could help us finding something. We told him what we were looking for and he quickly searched for us and said they had one set in the storage area downstairs. He asked if he could grab them for us to show us what the product looked like. After a few minutes he returned with the product for us to view and we were pleased with it and bought it. After this I also asked about another product called Mission Dreadknot tie downs. He searched again and found Scheels had one in stock that but it was not on display. He gladly went and retrieved that from the lower level stock room also. He brought it back and we found this is what we were looking for but needed two of them. He promptly put in an order for us on the spot and said he could ship them directly to our home address for delivery in just few days. I just want to commend Brandon for the time he took with us and how cordial he was in helping us find what we needed. His friendliness and ability to help was outstanding. Thank you Brandon for making our shopping at Scheels an exceptional experience!! We will continue to make Scheels our go-to store for all of our sporting goods needs!

  Updated Review I originally had a very disappointing experience ordering dog boots online for home delivery. I ordered two sizes since I wasn’t sure what would fit, and both pairs arrived with dog hair stuck to the Velcro and inside the packaging. While I understand customers may try items in-store, the returned products clearly hadn’t been inspected or cleaned before being shipped back out. Since the two items came from different locations (St. Cloud, MN and Sioux Falls, SD), it was clear this wasn’t an isolated oversight. I’m updating my review because Sandy, the store manager in St. Cloud, reached out to me directly after seeing my feedback and handled the situation exceptionally well. She took ownership, apologized, and resolved the issue quickly and professionally. Her follow‑through—and the fact that the Sioux Falls manager also reached out—showed that Scheels’ customer service is solid and consistent across locations. Although my online order experience was frustrating, the way Sandy addressed the issue demonstrated a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction.

  Love Scheels. Easily the best Sports store around. I like it better every time I get there! Just wish there was a closer one to me.

  One of the pairs of socks I ordered had a hole. I was able to get in contact with a person in under a minute and they sent me a whole new pack. Really appreciate real people behind companies instead of AI!

  Maybe when a customer tells your sales people they don’t need any help they should just leave them alone you guys just lost a 600 dollar sale because of this not that my measly 600 dollars matter but if more people have the same experience it adds up I went to sheels mind set on buying the 10” ion alpha plus ice auger got bombarded by 4 sales men asking if I needed help told the first 3 politely nope I’m doing fine don’t need any help thanks make my way to the ice auger section and here came sales person 4 told him nope I’m fine don’t need your help getting irritated at this point had not been in the store even 4 minutes at this point he proceeds to spend the next 5 minutes trying to convince me why I should buy the cheaper strike master mayven says it’s lighter faster comes with 2 battery’s and a free reel etc I came just to get the auger had he just walked away I’d have got the ion and been on my way at this point I was sick of his sales pitch told him have a nice day and left the store I’ll be taking my buisness to fleet farm now where I can shop in peace and not get choked into submission to buy a product I don’t want way to go sheels nice work
