  (March 27th) The cashier was offended that I did not want to sign up for their “card”. I asked if it was a credit card, she said yes, so I declined. Then she mumbled that I “could just pay it off”. (NO REALLY?!?!?) I wasn’t going to waste my time justifying myself so I just ignored her comment. Most store credit cards are garbage, and I have no interest in signing up for a credit card with a horrible APR and rewards that EXPIRE. I realized afterwards that the cashier added a JCP donation to my purchase out of spite without my consent. She took advantage of the fact that I was looking at items near the register and skipped to the final screen with only the total. There was no mention of a donation. This cashier is a scammer. Apparently it’s JCPenney’s policy to aggressively push credits cards and steal donations without permission from unsuspecting customers. My family will never go back to JCPenney. Go to Macy’s where the products, sales, and service are significantly better.

  They try to pressure you into signing up for credit card, won't take no for an answer, and continue harassing even after repeatedly declining. I was planning on buying blinds from here but will not step foot into this store nor purchase anything here ever again.

  Called the store to ask if they could set aside an item I saw in store but then could not find online. As I was talking the woman cut me off and tried to talk over me. I couldn’t hear what she said and thought maybe she was transferring me, so I waited silently for a minute before saying ”hello?” And she rudely came back at me with “m’am I don’t have anyone that can check for you right now. We close in 15 minutes. Goodbye” and slammed the phone down. When they actually didn’t close for 20 more minutes. And furthermore, what kind of customer service is that?! Why even answer the phone then. Very disappointed in how I was treated.

  I took me and my kids here to get our pictures done for Christmas and the lady was so rude. She rushed us the entire time and I don’t feel like we had a great experience and it’s so crazy because I took my son there when he was first born, and the experience was great, that was the reason for us coming back but if you ask me now would I go back probably not.
