The problem wasn’t with the timing of the order — it was the complete lack of care instructions provided with my gift and the state it was in, and the ill mannered manager I had the unpleasant time speaking wity. I received no written, printed, or verbal guidance about how to store the items. Without that information, there’s no reasonable way for a customer to know that baked goods and chocolates (not fresh fruit) needed to be refrigerated. Most people would assume the opposite, since bakery items are normally stored at room temperature.
I did talk on the phone to the manager to ask about this after filing my original complaint, hoping to resolve it, but the manager who contacted me was extremely unprofessional. She interrupted me multiple times, refused to let me explain what happened, told me it was my fault for not refrigerating all items,and then abruptly hung up. That made the entire experience feel dismissive and frankly disrespectful.
I understand that mistakes can happen — but what matters most is how they’re handled. A little empathy and accountability would have gone a long way. Instead, I’ve been made to feel as if this was my fault, even though I followed standard protocol. I did escalate this to the BBB.
I appreciate that you’ll consider adding clearer handling instructions in the future, but I also hope this feedback is shared with your management team. Customers shouldn’t be spoken to in such a way or made to feel responsible for something they weren’t informed about.

Received an edible arrangement from my mother. By the time i got to it(a couple days later) it was extremely moldy and liquidy. I filed a complaint with the website stating that i did not receive care instructions(who knew baked goods and chocolates(NOT FRESH FRUIT) had to go in the fridge. And was sad i didn't get to enjoy any part of my gift. The manager reached out and told me it was my fault for not refrigerating BAKED GOODS AND CHOCOLATES. before i had a chance to ask about next steps, she cut me off, and hung up on me.

I was gifted an edible arrangement as a get well after my surgery- Eddie from edible arrangements- called to let me know that he was delivering to my house soon. Unfortunately, I had gone back to work already (don’t tell my surgeon) and was not home! Luckily I work very close to home and he altered his delivery route and brought it straight to me at work!! What awesome service! This arrangement was just what I needed to make my day brighter! Thank you, Eddie, for going that extra mile (literally) to brighten my day! Such a tasty surprise!
