When I politely asked the cashier for a couple of extra bags so I could separate my items, she flat-out refused and said she “could not give more bags.” Seriously? After spending that much money, I can’t even get a few extra bags to carry my own purchases? That’s ridiculous and absolutely unacceptable for a store of this size. The cashier’s attitude was unhelpful and dismissive, and it made me feel like my business didn’t matter at all. If this is how JCPenney trains their employees, then the management definitely needs to step in and teach their staff basic customer service—or they’re going to keep losing customers like me. I left the store feeling frustrated and disrespected. Do better, JCPenney.
