  Hu Hot Restaurant build your own plate of food with seasonings. Soup and salad included on the price. Very attentive staff served us.

  Spent the day in Rochester and stopped at Apache Mall. Super nice. Big upgrade from the mall in La Crosse.

  It’s a climate-controlled ecosystem of pretzels, perfume clouds, and teenagers power-walking in packs. You step in and immediately get hit with that signature mall scent. Half cinnamon sugar. Half new sneakers. A faint whisper of nostalgia from 2007. 🥨👟 The food court hums like a small city. Someone’s guarding a tray of orange chicken like it’s classified information. A smoothie blender is screaming at full RPM. There’s always one table of retirees holding court like they own stock in the place. Retail lineup? Solid. You can upgrade your wardrobe, grab a candle that smells like “Cozy Forest Cabin,” and somehow walk out with a phone case you did not need but spiritually required. And the mall walkers. Elite athletes. Lapping the place before 9am like it’s the Daytona 500 of step counts. It’s not Vegas. It’s not the Mall of America. But Apache Mall has heart. It’s Rochester’s indoor town square where everyone eventually crosses paths. Four and a half stars for dependable chaos and Auntie Anne’s gravitational pull. Would absolutely orbit again. 🌀
