As I was leaving Scheels, a seemingly out of nowhere a man on a bike approached my truck in the parking lot and was aggressively speaking to me, which made me feel unsafe. This seems to be part of a larger public safety issue downtown in Moorhead, and it does affect whether I feel comfortable returning, not just to this store but to the area in general. Additional security or monitoring of the parking lot, especially as customers are coming and going, could go a long way toward improving the experience. I enjoy shopping locally and want downtown to succeed, but safety concerns like this make it difficult.

After 35 years of buying deer hunting licenses, today I drive across town to do the same thing I've done for years and when I get to customer service I was informed that the largest sporting goods, hunting and fishing retailer in the fargo moorhead area no longer sells licenses! Can't believe it, need to do better scheels!
