I purchased a coat for $1600 and it lasted two days before falling apart. Brought it here and they never apologized, Goose asked me to pay for shipping and said I’d be fined $125 if it wasn’t sent back professionally cleaned as it is a risk to their employees. Then they said you to people who don’t speak English on their customer “service” line. I can get better service and quality from Costco and only spend $30.

I’m not sure I have ever had a more high-quality retail experience at the mall of America. I was absolutely stunned by the level of professionalism and sharpness in my experience while purchasing my coat today. I had called on the phone to see if there was a size in stock and they said there was but I wasn’t sure if I would stop by. Truth be told I really hate going to the mall of America and cannot imagine a more horrific place to spend my Sunday afternoon. The moment I walked in, I was identified by the person who I spoke to, and they were happy to help me. The store is immaculately clean, and all of the staff were very friendly and incredibly respectful and professional. The -13° below zero room that you get to experience is absolutely unbelievable. There’s not a single thing that I could critique about my time and I am so happy that I walked out with my new coat! Seriously, other retail environments should take a look at how service is handled at Canada Goose at the Mall of America.
You walk into this store and there’s like 5 or 6 people standing at the entrance. They greet you but then no one really talks to you/helps you. It’s like walking into your high school and you’re not part of the group, it’s just super awkward.
I started looking at men’s coats myself. Was probably there for a good 10mins until I asked one of the guys for help who was actually working with another customer. I feel bad that I forgot his name. Mind you there were 3 other people standing in the men’s section and it’s like you’re invisible to them. Only this guy acknowledged me an came back to work with me after he finished up with his customer.
There are barely any jackets out on the rack. If you want to see something specific you have to ask and they have to go in the back to get it. The guy opens the door to the back and it’s literally overflowing with coats back there. Okay. Why not just put a few more styles/sizes out so I can look at them.
Anyways I didn’t have time to play their games. The jackets seem nice and warm but I’m not going to pay a premium to play games.
Take a look at your neighbor apple. They keep multiples of each item out and when someone buys they pull it out of the back.
