Went into it knowing that framing is expensive, but be aware that I got a total of 3 prints framed, they were having a buy 2 get one free holiday sale, and I still spent $245!!
Unfortunately, while staff were knowledgeable and experienced, I will not be returning because my requests weren’t all fulfilled. I explicitly asked for the Prada piece’s frame to be kept large, with a decent sized mat. They cut it down quite a bit, and it is *significantly* smaller than I expected it to be when I picked it up.
The frame for the print of the mans face was also cut down vertically. I expected that none of the top would be obstructed from view since they were literally cutting it to exact size. However, as you can see, the top of the hat is covered up by the frame. Maybe others wouldn’t notice, but I personally think it’s a framers job to be extremely precise.
It’s frustrating because if they’d done what I wanted, this would be 5 stars based on their unique frame selection and quality of products, but they didn’t and now I’m wishing I hadn’t spent that much money on disappointment.
