There were 3 different 9mm guns I looked at in the cage: a Smith & Wesson with a grip that looked very worn, a Glock, and another Smith & Wesson with a nice, clean grip. Ultimately, I chose the Smith & Wesson with the nice, clean grip. I even took a photo of it cuz I was so excited! The salesperson put it in the back room with my name on it. I purchased ammo and a gun case. I went to my local police department the following day, and on Tuesday morning, I picked up my permit to purchase! I couldn't wait! Tuesday afternoon, at 3:00pm, I went to the Fire Arms department, got out my permit and ID, and the guy went to grab my new 9mm! Except - he returned with the 1st Smith & Wesson with the worn grip! I kindly explained that wasn't my gun and showed him the photo with the serial number of the gun that had been held for me. He came back to let me know My Gun was actually being held for a different customer!!! I asked him to speak to the sales person who's name was on the Hold slip. He told me that employee wasn't working. I asked him to call him. He would not. I told him I wanted my original gun. He told me he couldn't do that because he doesn't know the whole story. I told him exactly what happened... The original salesperson thought I was a stupid GIRL and that he could get away with swapping out the gun. I'M NOT STUPID, BRO!!! Screw Scheel's. I will choose to purchase my pistol somewhere else!!
