  Really cool store. Tons of great selections. And the staff working were friendly and helpful. 4 stars because they refused to wrap the item I purchased because it was on sale. I offered to pay for gift wrapping, but I was told that they weren't allowed to wrap sale items. I guess I can't fault anyone for following the store policy. But it's a weird policy.

  Amazing owners. They always support our diverse hopkins community. The selection of toys for ALL ages. Loved getting it gift wrapped during Christmas. Stopping buying toys off Amazon and keeping my money local.

  Kiddywampus has the best toy selection! As you’d expect from a local business, they wrap up your presents beautifully — very convenient for birthdays or the holidays (they even have choices for different holidays, not just Christmas!) It’s shops like this one that make our downtown Hopkins so appealing and help create community. Thanks, Amy!

  I’ve spent hundreds of dollars at this location and have never been confronted about “theft.” My partner and I wanted to purchase two blind boxes and continue to shop around. We selected our blind boxes and went to look around the store. The employee at the front very rudely said we needed to leave them up behind the counter. That’s fine, I get it. But the cherry on top was her need to look us up and down and say “you know… for theft purposes.” I couldn’t help but scoff when I handed them back. My partner and I elected to simply leave and spend our money elsewhere. I don’t have the energy to be profiled at a toy store where I am trying to scrape together some small amount of joy. I’ve had nothing but positive experiences here but will not be coming back.
