  I’ve had LifeSafer for close to a year and recently switched from Inline X Automotive in St. Louis Park to the LifeSafer location on Nicols Road in Eagan after getting a new vehicle, as they were able to complete my vehicle swap sooner. My initial experience with LifeSafer during the swap was great, but my most recent visit was very disappointing. When I arrived, I handed my device to the front desk employee (a woman with long gray hair). Without any greeting or basic courtesy, she told me in a very rude and demeaning tone that my device was broken. When I asked her to show me, she pointed out a small crack. I was surprised, as I have not removed the device since it was installed by their office about two months ago. She immediately accused me of dropping it or “throwing it against a wall,” which was honestly shocking and inappropriate. I take this device very seriously—it represents my ability to maintain my daily life—and I treat it with extreme care. I would never damage it intentionally. I understand that issues can happen, but the way this was handled was unacceptable. A simple, respectful approach—such as asking if I was aware of the crack—would have made a huge difference. Instead, the interaction felt accusatory and demeaning. I try to be especially polite and respectful in these situations because I understand the stigma that can come with needing this service. Being treated as though I had done something careless or dishonest, without any attempt at a professional conversation, was very discouraging. It’s also concerning to see similar feedback from others about this same employee. Based on this experience, I will be switching back to Inline X Automotive in St. Louis Park, as they have consistently treated me with kindness, dignity, and compassion. I would recommend considering other locations if possible. Customer service, especially in this line of work, should include professionalism, respect, and basic empathy. I hope the company takes this feedback seriously and provides additional training on communication and customer interaction.
