I replied, "Not today, thanks". As I was only a few feet away walking out, he stated to another employee, "I don't work well with that demographic." The other stated, "Which one?" The first laughed, "White people". Sorry Cole Haan that you didn't have the style I was looking for today, but I'll never be back if he thinks I didn't need assistance because I'm white. Race has nothing to do with my shoes.
