The associate on duty—whose name may have been Shanice—was completely disengaged from the moment I approached her. She was fixated on her phone and remained so even as I asked a question, only looking up when I paused mid-sentence. Her demeanor was unenthusiastic and unmotivated, as if helping customers was an inconvenience. Even after I started browsing a pair of sunglasses, she immediately went back to whatever she was doing on her phone. The entire interaction felt awkward and unprofessional. It was honestly embarrassing to be treated with such indifference in a retail setting. I would hope that the store’s cameras captured the lack of attentiveness and poor customer service I experienced. I strongly encourage that this feedback be escalated to a higher-level manager or regional supervisor. Experiences like this reflect poorly on the brand and should be addressed to ensure better service in the future.
