I called the store seeking a Tissot 38mm Damascus. Cayden told me they didn't have one but if I made a deposit he could get me one in a day or two. I went to the store and paid a $300 deposit. The receipt said that I owed $981.00.
Cayden called me the next day saying he had the watch. I went there with $981.00 cash and was told that I owed $.04 more sales tax. You've got to me crapping me! Seriously? On the receipt there is a disclaimer saying the sales tax may change at time of final purchase. Your computer system can't calculate sales tax? (And even with the stinking 4 cents the sales tax was still incorrect.)
Busting my chops over 4 cents is beneath contempt and a sure fire way to lose customers. Granted given your location you deal mostly with transients, not really seeking to build a loyal local customer base, as did stores such as Wixon's, whose closing is a real loss to the community.
And requiring me to sign a statement on the receipt agreeing not to sell the watch within a year is laughable. You have the right to refuse to sell to anyone irrespective of an insulting, illegal "contract" on a receipt that cannot even be calculated properly. I understand you want to discourage flipping, especially with Rolex. But considering that you don't sell anything that cannot be obtained elsewhere, often cheaper, such a statement is a bigger joke than Tim Walz.
What a disappointing experience! I'll leap into my grave laughing before I ever shop at WOS again.

Drove three hours just for this location’s stock of Grand Seiko. Viktoria was an absolute pleasure to work with before, during, and after the purchase. She’s very knowledgeable, welcoming, and accommodating. She deserves a complimentary lunch. :)
Looking forward to the next trip!
