I came in after work looking for a specific shoe, and the staff had me waiting for a long time because they “forgot to check if my shoe was even in the back.” No one came to update me, apologize, or explain the delay. Eventually someone just came out and told me they didn’t have the shoe and offered to ship it, but by that point I was already frustrated. This could’ve been handled so much better. The first associate who went to check could have simply come back and told me the shoe wasn’t there. Instead, I stood around wasting my time for no reason. Customers shouldn’t have to wait that long for basic communication. DSW needs to be more attentive and respectful of people’s time.
