This is honestly a terrible company, if I could give 0 stars I would, I’ve already received a bond violation for a false positive with my insight device, and when I called about it I got the most terrible agent on the phone, no sense of urgency or help at all, I was told that I just had to have had alcohol on my breath when it happened, come to find out after doing more research it was condensation that got on the fuel cell which caused me to get those results, I had to spend almost $70 on a ETG test to prove no alcohol was in my system for the past 2 days, while also having to have my lawyer do more work by explaining it to the judge and prosecutor, luckily they understood and I didn’t get charged for it. Secondly just recently I received a payment date of April 19th, well the 19th is Sunday a day that the offices are CLOSED and I can’t make a payment, and it makes it no better that I tried to make the payment on Friday but every time I called this company, they can never pull up my account even after giving them my name, DOB, Drivers license number, or serial number, they literally will have me on hold for 10 min+ trying to figure out the issue until someone eventually gets it, on Friday after my account was finally pulled up I was told to call the Michigan offices to make my payment, well I couldn’t do that because by the time my account was pulled up it was around 5:15, the Michigan offices close at 5:00pm so I called Saturday just to get an automated message saying the offices are closed on Saturday and Sunday, so why give me a payment date for the 19th if you guys knew it would literally be impossible for me to make the payment, after doing my own research and getting literally no help from smart start I contacted ALLPAID which is where my payments go to and made my own payment through their site, and after calling 5 different numbers I was finally able to get some help with unlocking my device which still didn’t help much because I missed my first time window which is from 7-9 I wasn’t able to get the device unlocked until 9:23, I’m Pretty sure I’m going to get ANOTHER bond violation for this I’m literally going to have to call my monitor tomorrow and beg for them to understand how I keep having problems with a company that is supposed to help me prove I’m on the right path, this is honestly ridiculous. And on top of that I’m constantly told my account can’t be set up for the portal which would literally solve all my problems when it comes to payment and you guys not being able to find my account, it’s like this company purposely wants you to fail.

I had to drive over and half an hour to the location in Harrison Township, MI (30miles) to receive my device, when it's plenty of locations near my city. I set an appointment for 2:30. I got there on time. I was the only person there and I ended up leaving this place around 3:50 pm. They customer service was horrible. I will never recommend this place to anyone. They were slow and unprofessional. I was so frustrated, I had to call the office number to let them know I was in the office. I could hear the eco from them as we were on the call. They didn't have my paperwork together. They need to rehire. If I could've had another company to have complete the work in needed. I would never choose them. Not only that happened a customer came in with 3:30pm appointment while I'm still waiting for what he needed and was out within less than 10mins. They even have video footage of all the time I spent in that office. I feel I should get compensated for my time and how I was treated. On top of that I don't even know or have any documentation on the device I've received.

This place is a scam. If you need a breath test, go to your local in-person location and don't use an at home advice. I paid for the first week and didn't get the device for 10 days. They would not credit me for that first week and then the device didn't work because it was only activated for 7 days. So ok, I'll pay. How do I pay? You have to call them. They have not once answered the phone. They don't have a website to pay, they don't have a third party to pay, according to them, they don't have an automated phone system to pay. I've spent hours on the phone on hold. I figured out that they do answer emails so that's how I've gotten by. They also told me not to email them. Well, they answer emails so I am continuing to email them. I found a round-about way to pay them and send them the receipt from their third party payment system which I found on a receipt they emailed me, but that is not a normal option according to them AND it takes 48 hour to process that way. They have stolen money, they don't answer the phone, they don't offer any way to pay, and this is all ordered by the court as mandatory. Stay away from this company.
