Outstanding variety and stock of multiple weapons at a fair price. Purchased 3 weapons and hundreds of rounds for the first time in my life. I picked up a CPL a couple years ago and have been researching for the last few years on which weapons to pick up. After moving up to St Clair county in 2023 into a large home on 20 wooded acres I knew I was getting closer to getting weapons. Eventually, last year I got chickens and after losing a couple chickens to predators I needed to get something as beating a possum for several minutes with a crow bar was extremely tiring and not very humane. I came toward the end of 2024 and learned alot from a young man who was able to spend a decent amount of time teaching me certain things about some of the weapons. Then I spoke to a young man named Chris who was one of the managers of the firearm dept. and he too spent a decent amount of time with me on some of the weapons and helping me to settle on the weapons I decided on. I put the rifle and 9 mm on layaway and started the process of applying for a gun permit for the rifle. After a few minutes I was told it may take a week or so to come back so I left and then received a call the next day that everything came back ready to go. A few days later I picked up a Rugar 22 rifle, Glock 43 22 caliber pistol and a Glock 44 - 9 mm pistol. The guys at the counter were really busy working with multiple people. A few days later, when I finally got the opportunity to look over the weapons, I ended up having quite a bit of questions which I learned the answers from a couple you tube videos and instruction manuals. I guess I assumed since I stated to multiple employees that these were my first weapons I ever purchased, aside from pellet and BB guns, that they would have shared a lot more details about the firearms. Sure we do learn quite a bit in the CPL class but I took it a couple years ago. I also served in the Marine Corps but had been out since1996. Not to mention the M16A2 service rifle was a slightly different weapon than these. Overall I am really happy with the purchase. What they have to offer and the basic information they have. I would however do your own research as each person has their own favorite weapons, manufactures etc. and employees will share info on those and limited on others they are not interested as much in.

Dunham's is guilty of false advertising. The sign on the shelf clearly states $19.99. The store manager offered the same product to us for $80.00. Not only did they lose today's sale but any future sales, as well. The only reason they were given a one star rating is because you can't give any less and still leave a review.

Love dunhams, usually get ammo and hoodies when sales are happening...would have given 5 stars but seems no one wanted to work gun counter and I had to track someone down and still wait 10 more minutes...idk...maybe just me but services everywhere seem to be lacking for customer support but in the end....know what you're getting into to save a few bucks here and there i guess 🤷‍♂️...

This store has a nice selection of all kinds of outdoor items! Prices are very comparable to stores that are similar. Great location in the mall. Open before the mall so that’s wonderful. People are always super helpful and friendly. Great place to shop!
