  Walking out the door I was left with a feeling of joy after my visit. Truly a better experience than shopping online, hands down. I’ll be going back here for every gift I can moving forward. They have an awesome selection of toys for all ages, and they’re displayed nicely. It’s organized in there and not a mess. They gift wrapped my daughters Christmas gift and gave me multiple options for wrapping paper, etc. I thought that was really cool. All of the gifts we found were a hit and they were well made. Not a bunch of low quality plastic, which I really liked. Prices were competitive and fair in my opinion as well. Although I would’ve paid a few bucks more for the experience, I didn’t need to. I felt compelled to give them props. My expectations were exceeded.

  Recently came in for the first time and just realized I forgot to review! Was looking for a gift for a 1 year old, and Matt was extremely helpful with it. He pointed me towards a few toys, but the one he recommended most was a huge hit, the PlayTabs! I ended up back again a few days later for more for other kids I know. Instant hits! He also helped with the gift wrapping which saved me on time since I’m admittedly a last minute shopper. Hopefully when my 5 year old niece turns 6, he’ll have more ideas for me! All in all, I really recommend stopping in for a wide variety of products! I may be back when I’m not in a rush soon to look for myself, they had a few things that caught my attention!

  Awesome store! All I have to say is complementary gift wrapping! (Same price as Amazon on most items, unique gifts, and they’ll even ship stuff for you for the little ones who are out of state)

  I genuinely appreciated that this store carries a wide range of baby gear — it’s one of the few places where you can actually see and touch items in person, which I really value. What I hope can improve: Staff training on strollers would make a big difference. My husband and I spent about 30 minutes in the stroller room without anyone checking in. We didn’t mind at first, but when we did need help, it became a bit frustrating. It took a while to find someone “specialized” in strollers, and when the associate arrived, she wasn’t familiar with the products and had to involve another employee and eventually call the owner for answers. Some of the staff members are truly wonderful, but a few seem a bit dismissive if you’re not purchasing higher-priced items, which can be discouraging. On another visit, I came in to look at gliders. They do have a nice selection, and we were ready to purchase one for $1,200 in-store. However, we found the exact same glider from the original retailer online for $800, with shipping in 8–10 business days, while Modern Natural quoted 6–8 weeks. It’s small things like this that ultimately made me decide not to return for major purchases. They carry many beautiful products, and I still think the store has a lot of potential — but I would recommend double-checking prices. I fully understand small businesses need to make a profit, but a markup of several hundred dollars feels excessive.
