I have been working around the country for the past few years and when I tell people about the tool library everyone’s mind is blown and they fall in love with Carhartt even more. The staff are incredibly helpful and are eager to troubleshoot projects with me.

I’ve been renovating and restoring a $1,000 house I bought from the landbank, and as a contractor who’s been at this almost 30 years it’s been very enjoyable to borrow a $300 high precision tool that was needed for 10 minutes as opposed to buying it and then having it collect dust for another 5 to 8 years before needing it again. General contracting is just that; you have the general tools. The Workshop has everything I don’t and that’s a godsend.
